What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker - What It IsTabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience. The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice. What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.PlatformsYou get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally. How Fast Are the FillsThe execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.RegulationThis is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.Welcome OfferTabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding. The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, tabtrade review is at click here Trade The Day.
